Learning outcomes
To familiarise students with basic terms from statistic, what mean the statistical recognition and statistical set. Statistics in transportation, synopses and specifications worked by CIT in the Czech Republic, the works of central statistic, departmental specifications. Supposed development of statistic in the Czech Republic, requirements on transport statistics, indicators of recognition and specifics of transport statistic in the Czech Republic.
After graduation of subject the student can process indicators in statistic, methods of sorting, proportionate part numbers and indices, mean values, averages, position indicating devices, measures variation. He is able to analyze indicators of dependence, correlation, regression, time series, the trends and tendency of time series, processing of time series, method of least squares, centring.
Prerequisites
Graduate subject Mathematical statistic and know bases of the mathematical methods and work in program Excel.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment

During the semester also at the examination the student must understand solve problems in statistic, he will learn to apply his piece of knowledge also in his final bachelor work or in thesis. The tutor will notify the concrete requirements to the students within the first week of the term.
