Course content
Basic terms. Social priorities. General rules of etiquette (greeting,introduction). General rules of etiquette (addressing,degrees). Business cards. Etiquette of verbal and written expression (names, titles, language, correspondence). Etiquette of verbal and written expression (e-mail etiquette, telephony). Workplace etiquette, business dealings. Dressing, image (menswear). Dressing, image (ladies wear). Social dining (seating order,laying the table). Social dining (putting on table, service, dining). Ceremonial social events.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Methods of individual activities, Projection, Skills training, Stimulating activities (simulation, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
The aim is to deepen students´ knowledge concerning proper social behaviour, which is necessary for managerial work.
Getting through the subject the student masters rules of etiquette in various situations, starting from general rules of etiquette to the rules closely connected with managerial work. He/she is informed about the problems of business dealings and is able to behave correctly in various situations that can happen in connection with participation in social events.
Prerequisites
No special background is necessary for this subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Systematic monitoring

The student must prove that he has mastered explained problems and that he/she is able to judge and solve correctly various situations rising within etiquette. Students will be informed about detailed requirements in the first week of the term.
