Learning outcomes
|
The aim is to provide students with basic information concerning writting and formal layout of the master thesis and its defence. Another aim is to make students acquainted with the organization of state final examinations.
Getting through the subject the student has deepened knowledge of rules and conventions concerning master thesis writing, both as for contents and form, and is able to work with data sources. He/she can search in electronic databases and quote various types of documents in accordance with the relevant norm. The student is also able to prepare defence of the master thesis.

Prerequisites
|
Mastering of Czech grammar and stylistics at secondary school level as well as knowledge of basic principles of informatics are assumed.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Home assignment evaluation
In the course of the term the student must prove that he/she is well informed about the given problems. The student must also prove the ability to meet requirements concerning master thesis writing. Requirements for the credit acquirement are determined by the teacher.
