Course content
Public finance (function and importance) Public expenditures and revenues Financial market Fiscal and monetary policy Central banks and their function and importance Banking systém and banking market Investment banking (application to transport projects) International banking (WB, EBRD, IMF ? application in transport) Specialized banking (Guarantee and Development Banks, Mortgage banking, Municipal banking) Specialized banking (Building savings banks, savings and credit cooperative society, agricultural credit systems) Czech export bank, Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation, EUROFIMA Payment instruments and methods of financing (case studies of transport) Exchange system and RM system

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Methods of individual activities
Learning outcomes
The goal of this subject is to apprise students with the topic public funding, financial markets, banking systems and banking in CR and in abroad. The subject deals also with topic bursa and stock markets.
After passing this subject, the student will know the topic municipal finances. The student is familiar with banking systems and chosen forms of specialised banking. He is familiarised with the topic exchange systems.
Prerequisites
It's expected to manage bachelor study level.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation

The student must prove during the term and also by the exam, that he/she understands taught and solved problems. He has to defend individual final work. The tutor will notify the concrete requirements to the students within the first week of the term.
