Course content
Subject human engineering, main psychological conceptions. Methodology and general science basics of psychology. Psychological phenomena and behaviour regulation. Cognitive processes and their role in activity regulation of employees in the transport. Emotional processes, will and psychical stadiums of employees in the transport. Personality of the manager and the operator in transport, determinants, structure and personality failures. Performance characteristics of the manager and the operator. Temperament and character, its role in the regulation of employees in the transport behaviour. Social communication and communication in the system human - machines. Assertive acting, development of the assertive skills and techniques. Transport psychology, analysis of the system human - machine and operator's activities.

Learning outcomes
To familiarise with the basics of human engineering and to learn them using this knowledge in their work. To learn student about cognitive and emotional processes, performance and other personality characteristics by employees in the transport and learn them how to use assertive in social communication.
By passing this subject, the student will acquire piece of knowledge about cognitive and emotional processes, about performance and other personality characteristics by employees in the transport and gain the skill using assertive in the social communication. He is able to use psychological findings in his activities.
Prerequisites
The education is independent on the other subjects.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

The student must prove by the exam that he/she understands taught and solved problems in full. The tutor will notify the concrete requirements to the students of day studies within the first week of the term.
