Course content
Change in the philosophy of the management, Change Management. Knowledge Management. Process Management ( philosophy, basic principles, differences between process and operational management). Processes and their characteristics, process maps. Process management in the transport. Reengineering. Management and company´s prosperity (soft factors of the prosperity). New organizational structures, team work. Couching, leadership, team leading. Strategic management, strategic cycle, positional analysis. Methods and techniques of strategic management. Quality management.

Learning outcomes
To familiarise students with management development at the end of 20th century and with the changes in tis philosophy, with modern trends in managing organizations with emphasis on the procedural control and tools for increasing company's prosperity.
After passing this subject, the student has ability to bearing himself in the modern managerial approaches. He knows modern management theories and modern trends in the leading organisation forcefully on increasing company´s prosperity.
Prerequisites
There are expected basic knowledge from the management (passing subject Management I in the bachelor study level, or the similar one at other University) .

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation

The student must prove during the term and also by the exam, that he/she understands solved problems and the ability to solve ser case studies individually or in the group of students. The tutor will notify the concrete requirements to the students within the first week of the term.
