Course content
Business in transport. Financing of transport corporations. Property structure of corporation. Capital structure of corporation. Management and corporate planning activities. Analysis of factors affecting the demand for transport corporate services. Analysis of factors affecting the supply of transport corporate performances. Revenues, costs and operating result of corporate. Preparation and planning of transport services transport corporate. External costs of transport. Pricing in transportation services. Assessment of the effectiveness of investments. Assessment of the effectiveness of investments in transport infrastructure. Summary this subject.

Learning outcomes
To make students acquainted with the principles of build-up firm, business in transport and action of the state on business and financing of transport, costs and revenues relations of transport firm, etc.
After passing this subject the student acquires wide view of costs, revenues, operating result, external costs of transport firm. He is able to analyze and evaluate cash flow in transport firm etc.
Prerequisites
It's expected basic knowledge of economy and college math.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment

The student must prove understanding of the solving problems and ability of the independently judge and evaluate of the economic market trends in range this subject during the term and within final exam. The student has to understand solving problems in forwarding business during the term and the final exam, first of all calculation awards behind transportation, business activity of forwarder and he learns to apply piece of knowledge to his possible final work. The tutor will notify the concrete requirements to the students within the first week of the term.
