Course content
Management and social changes. Development of managerial thinking and behaviour. Knowledge corporation and its functioning principals. Entrepreneurial and investment projects evaluation - stages of life cycle of a project (investment), fundamental aspects of technical-economic studies, technical-economic project study (feasibility study), project financial sources, capital cost (discount rate), project cash flows, financial analysis and project evaluation, evaluation of financial alternatives of a project. Project risk management - risk conception and classification, risk security, content of risk management, determination of risk factors, assessment of risk factors´ significance, assessment of investment project´s risk, measures for risk decrease, investment projects´ risk evaluation. Consideration of non-monetary impacts in investment projects - classification of impacts in investment projects, consideration of non-monetary impacts of transformation on monetary expression, multi-criteria investment projects evaluation. Flexibility of investment projects - defects and deficiencies of conventional evaluation approaches, conception of real options and their types, financial options and their value, real option value, example of assessment of real option value, real options usage area. Chosen problems of the course depending on the orientation of doctoral dissertation.

Learning outcomes
To deepen theoretical knowledge of student in chosen articles in company's management focused on social changes management and Knowledge Company, theoretical basic of arrangement and implementation of entrepreneurial projects, evaluating their effectiveness, risks and flexibility, main principles of entrepreneurial ethics in the market decision making of managers.
After passing this subject the students will gain the ability to analyse theoretical basic of knowledge company and principles of its behaviour. Analyse and model costs and benefits of entrepreneurial projects, including risk factors which impact on their effectiveness and use project's flexibility for increasing their effectiveness possible usage of real option.
Prerequisites
The knowledge of topic management, company economics and university mathematics on the level graduates in the master studies.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

The student must prove at the exam the knowledge of taught topics, which he can use within suitable processes and methods for verifying set hypothesis of solving in future dissertation.
