Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is to acquaint students with the latest methods of rail vehicle dynamic behaviour analysis in the stage of design as well as evaluating its operation.
After completing the course the students are able to analyze dynamic behaviour of rail vehicles based on an assembly of a simplified dynamic and mathematical model of a vehicle.
Prerequisites
The course enrolment for Erasmus students is possible only after the course lecturer's/guarantor's approval based on a proof of previously taken courses and their content.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation
Students have to demonstrate understanding of the lectured topics and ability to solve modelling problems of vehicle dynamics during the semester as well as at the final exam.
