Course content
|
Global and local problems of environment protection and creation (of protection and creating environment) Principle of sustainable development . Environmental monitoring. Transport and telecommunication impacts on air, soil, water, organism and health of people. Present state and possibilities of a negative impacts of TAT and transport on environment. Transport and ecological area burden. Requirements of soil and water pollution. Redevelopment. The most important legal regulations in environment protection and its commentary. Technologies for reduction of environmental negative impacts of transport - principles Particular technical solutions of selected environmental protection problems, case analysis. Waste management in the transport. Determination and evaluation of waste properties. Modern physical, physical-chemical and chemical monitoring methods of environment. Working environment in transport, occupational safety and hygiene. Its connection with peoples health. Working environmental factors. Internal environment, pollution Environmental information systems. Selected environmental problems in accordance with the specialization of the student and his/ her dissertation thesis.

Learning outcomes
|
Deepen student´s knowledge about the environmental protection and creation (especially in transport and telecommunication).
Studying of the course student will obtain detailed knowledge about transport and telecommunications (TAT) impacts on environment and about its reduction. He has overview about modern physical, physical-chemical and chemical monitoring methods and environmental legal aspects. He is learned about classical and alternative resources of energy, harmful effects of noise, vibration, electromagnetic fields and radiation on people health. He is familiar with the waste management (disposal technologies regarding electro-waste and waste from transport), working environmental factors. He is equipped with knowledge about further environmental aspects in the transport and telecommunication in accordance with the specialization of the student and his/ her dissertation thesis.

Knowledge of the environmental protection, chemistry, physics and ICT.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Written examination
Exam from this course (form, conclusion, duration) is in conformity with Studying and examining rules of University Pardubice. The exam consists from writing and oral part. Successful passing of writing test is necessary condition for oral part. It is obligated to present the suitable end term work (semester work). During final exam student has to prove his understanding of topics mentioned above and to prove ability to solve assigned tasks individually. Particular requests will be past to students in the first part of education by tutor.
