Course content
Characteristics and basic structure of diagnostic information systéme (DIS). DIS - RCM, focus on rail vehicles. DIS - EXPERT. DIS - EXPERT/ LET - focus on air transport. DIS - PROJECTOR. DIS - ENVIRONMENT, protection in problematic manufacture. DIS - MAINTENANCE / vehicles. DIS - FMEA / FMECA. DIS - QA / RA, quality and reliability assurance. Recapitulation of global valuation of DIS usage in transport vehicles and machinery.

Learning outcomes
The goal of this course is to introduce basics and principles of diagnostic information systems (DIS) and their use in maintenance management of transport vehicles and machinery to the students.
A graduate of this course will gain not only an overview of using diagnostic information systems but also knowledge of relation with technical solutions DIS of selected tasks in management, control and protection.
Prerequisites
Knowledge at bachelor study level of a technical focus.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination

The exam of this course (form, content, duration) is stated conformable with Study And Exam Regulations of UPa. The exam regards of a written and an oral test. Successful graduation of the written part of exam is the presumption for the oral part.
