Diagnostic model subsystem, DS control subsystem, human factor subsystem. Selection of diagnostic quantities, principles, purpose, methods. Diagnostic similarity-based complex numbers.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
Learning outcomes
Students will be introduced to the principles, characteristics and structure of diagnostic systems (DS) and their application for diagnosing technical condition, localize faults and predict further operability of means of transport and equipment.
By completing this subject the student will be provided with an overview and expertise necessary for the use of diagnostic systems in the management of reconditioning of means of transport and equipment, the management of their operational reliability and quality and in the environmental assessment and protection.
Prerequisites
Completion of the basic subjects of the bachelors study.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination

Awarding a credit confirms that a full time student has been attending the course of study to the required level and that he or she has met all the requirements necessary for awarding the credit. The conditions for giving a credit are set by the teacher. The students are required to take an active part in the exercises (attend all practical exercises and hand-in their reports from them in sufficient quality). Examination in the subject (format, content, duration) is given by the Upa rules for Study and Examining. Attendance in the examination is conditioned by the achieved credit The examination consists of a written and oral part. Successful completion of the written part alows you to advance to the oral part.
