Evaluation of the running safety and running behaviour Simulation calculations of the rail vehicles Method of the structural elements, solving of the motion equations by method of the finite diferences Structure of the simulation program of the rail vehicle running Simulation of the running in straight track, vehicle running behaviour Simulation of the running in curve, vehicle guiding behaviour Examples of the particular results of the simulation calculations of the vehicle running dynamic Summary

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Projection, Skills training
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with modern methods of rail vehicles dynamical behaviour analysis in the stage of design and in evaluating their operation.
After passing the course, student is able to analyze dynamical behaviour of the vehicle on the basis of the simplify dynamical and mathematical model of the vehicle
Prerequisites
The subject enrolment for Erasmus students is possible only after approval of the tutor/guarantor of the subject based on a proof of previously taken subjects and their content.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation

Student has to demonstrate during semestr and also at final exam understanding of the lectured topic and he has to demonstrate ability to separately solving of the modeling vehicle dynamic.
