Course content
|
Road vehicle part: Systems of road vehicles check and maintenance. Systems of road vehicles repairs. Checks of road vehicles technical state. Diagnostic systems of road vehicles, STK, SME. Systems of road vehicles on-board diagnostics. Time allowance, conclusions of talked over subject matter. Railway vehicle part: Cleaning the railway vehicles (RV) and their parts, vehicle weighing. Defektoscopy. Renovative methods at maintenance. Theory of surface and technology of surface edits. Maintenance of wheelset, maintenance of axle bearings. Maintenance of bogies, maintenance of body case and body case frame. Maintenance of electrical arrangements. Maintenance of combustion motor. Maintenance of select parts and auxiliary equipment of RV. Maintenance operation, orderong of maintenance halls, manipulation means, working environment, working and hygienic conditions.

Learning outcomes
|
Road vehicles part: Objective of road vehicle part of this subject is acquainting students with principles of vehicle care, maintenance system, basics of automotive service and diagnostic checks of road vehicles. Railway vehicles part: Students acquired the elementary knowledges about organization of servicing, maintenance and about technology of repairs of the single constructional parts of railway vehicles.
Road vehicle part: After complete the examination of this subject student knows principles of car fleet care from view of maintenance, repairs and diagnostics. Railway vehicle part: Student is able to working activity associated with technological pages of maintenance process.

Encompassment of Operation of Railway Vehicles and Operation of Road Vehicles is supposed.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Written examination
Road vehicle part: Student must evidence understanding all service systems and diagnostics during semester and also during final examination to the extent of talked over subject matter. Concrete requirements will be announced to students in the first week of semester. Railway vehicle part: The examination has the written part in test form and oral part.
