Course content
Tests of rail vehicles framework of development and within the scope of approval procedure. Strength tests. Tests of safety against derailment. Brake tests. Pinciple of measure wheel sets. Excursion on railway test circuits, dynamic test stands. Summary of discussed topics.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to introduce students to current applied procedures of vehicle tests.
Students understand test methods of vehicles after graduation.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of "Technical measurement" is demanded.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

During semester students have to demonstrate (at exercises and at final examinations) that they understand topic sense, and that they are able to solve exercises on subject matters independently. Teacher tells students concrete requirements at the beginning of semester.
