Course content
Introduction into computer-aided design - CAD systems, principles of graphics display. Introduction into AutoCAD - user's environment, working with files. System of coordinates, basics of drawing. Tool for exact terms of drawing, modes of object snap. Layer, function for control display. Editing grips, selection object, commands for modify, commands for draw. Change properties object, information about object, hatching. Text processing. Dimensioning, editing dimension, dimension style. Blocks, external reference. Three-dimensional drawing. Programming in AutoCAD.

Learning outcomes
The aim is to adopt basic skills in software based on Autodesk and MicroStation platform.
After graduation students will get the basic knowledge of software suits of two firms, Autodesk and Bentley.
Prerequisites
It requires knowledge of Introduction to Information Technology.

Assessment methods and criteria
Home assignment evaluation

Conditions of tutorial credit are subject of lecturer decision (should be stated by lecturer at the beginning of semester). At least 70 % of attendance on lectures and discharging of requirements given by lecturer (semestral work) and proving of the gain knowledge by passing the final test.
