Course content
|
Categories urban communikacations. Transverse arrangement. Height and directional solution. Specifics of the design in relation to roads and highways. Complicated directional and vertical alignment. Level crossings and elevated crossings. Objects and accessories roads. The exercise is a proposal of traffic light controlled intersections solutions, inc. signal plans. The proposal is made on the basis of traffic census at the specified intersection.

|
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the design of urban roads and deepen the knowledge gained.
After completing the course student has a comprehensive knowledge in the design and planning of urban roads.

Prerequisites
|
Students must have before examination in this course have completed subject Roads and highways.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written examination
Terms of the credit determines the lecturer. Participation in exercise - at least 70%. Preparation and submission of all tasks assigned to exercise. Successful resolution of the final test - min 70%. In the examination, the student will demonstrate knowledge of the active topics presented in lectures.
