Course content
1. Prestressed concrete and its use in the construction of large span bridges. 2. Effects of prestressing of statically indeterminate structures (short-term, long-term prestressing losses). 3. Guide of prestressing cables of statically indeterminate structures (linear transformation of cables, concordant cable). 4. Bridge construction of cast-in-situ on scaffolding. 5. Bridge construction of movable scaffolding system. 6. Construction of bridges bulit these technologies - free cantilever method, incremental lauching, rotation (bridges over rivers and deep valleys). 7. Bridges of cross-sectioned prefabricated segment constructions (segment production, segment assembly, hybrid structures). 8. Slab structures, beam and frame structures, arch structures, cable stayed and suspension structures (static solution, construction method). 9. Large-span arch bridges (two-hinged, double-sided arch), theoretical analysis, calculation of internal forces and design of forces. 10. Integrated bridges (theoretical analysis, prerequisites). 11. Plan curved bridges - reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete (influence of prestressing in curved elements). 12. Cross sections of chamber beams, trapping of chamber beams in supports. 13. Indirect bearing of bridge structures.
