Learning outcomes
|
The aim of professional practice is to apply the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the student acquired from teaching professional subjects at the Jan Perner Faculty of Transport in practice. Furthermore, the students' competences will be strengthened by completing professional practice and verifying practical and theoretical knowledge. Within the framework of professional practice, students are provided with the opportunity to verify and deepen the skills acquired by studying individual subjects during the follow-up master's degree program through practical activities performed in an agreed company or organization under the guidance of experts from practice. Professional practice is performed in companies engaged in the design and implementation of transport structures. During professional practice, the student becomes familiar with the practical operation of individual departments of design or construction companies.
After completing the internship, the student will practically orient themselves in the organizational structure of the given company, will be familiar with the rules of health and safety, and will acquire practical skills according to the company's focus (construction activities vs. design activities).

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Home assignment evaluation
Completion of 240 hours of practical training, preparation of a report on the progress of the practical training. Confirmation of completion of internship.
