Course content

1. Organization of administration and maintenance of roads 2. Inspection of roads, winter maintenance 3. Construction layers of road pavements 4. Road defects. Road database 5. Repairs and reconstruction of road cover, underlays 6. Subsoil rehabilitation. Maintenance of road equipment 7. Maintenance, repair and reconstruction of traffic structures 8. Repair and restoration of asphalt pavements, reconstruction of asphalt pavements, repair, renovation and reconstruction of cement concrete pavements 9. Road recycling 10. Basic road building materials, requirements for them and their use in road construction. Temporary markings and closures 11. Road bearing capacity (measurement, diagnostics) 12. Road surface properties - unevenness, skid resistance (measurement, diagnostics) 13. Road cover failure condition (measurement, diagnostics)
