Course content
1. Introduction of the theory of computer modeling of structures. 2. Introduction of general methods and evaluation of achieved numerical results. 3. Theoretical behavior of data behavior managers in softwares. 4. Introduction - SW Scia Engineer. 5. Application of simplifying assumptions, boundary conditions. 6. Modeling of real structures in Scia Engineer SW. 7. Evaluation of achieved results in Scia Engineer SW. 8. Modeling of bridge structures in Scia Engineer SW. 9. Modeling and simulation of element behavior in Atena 2D SW. 10. Modeling of elements/structures in Atena Science (GID) SW. 11. Evaluation of achieved results in Atena Science SW. 12. Modeling of bridges in Allpan Bridge SW. 13. Modeling of bridges in Allpan Bridge SW.

Learning outcomes
To acquaint students with the possibilities of application of computational softwares and with the evaluation of achieved numerical outputs. The course is primarily focused on practical application of Scia Engineer. Additionally Atena SW (Červenka Consulting) and Allpan Engineer SW.
After completing the course, student is able to create the design and evaluate of transport structure in Scia Engineer SW. Student get acquainted with Atena SW and Allplan Engineer SW.
