Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Work-related activities
  • Contact teaching - 20 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 85 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an exam - 45 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
to acquaint students with methods of measurement and calculations of construction geodesy. In the course students will work with theodolite, total station, leveling device. They will learn to measure angles, lengths and elevations in relation to set out and calculating coordinates.
After completing the course, student is able to process basic computational tasks in geodesy, to set the curve and simple building object from polar coordinates, to perform technical leveling and altimetry measurement.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of basic geometric problems

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation

Required attendance in seminars (full-time study only) Elaboration and submission of all tasks assigned Passing the exam
