|
Introduction to municipal engineering. The issue of the road quality system - legislative framework. The issue of the road quality system - quality requirements for buildings. Barrier-free access to public areas in the urban environment. Urban furniture and placement of traffic signs. Excursion to the utilities network system in the field (Part 1). Spatial coordination (spatial arrangement) of technical utilities. Problems in the management and classification of utilities, including associated routes. Excursion to the utilities network system in the field (Part 2). Rainwater management and surface drainage. Designing utility roads with direct connections to municipal engineering. Excursion to the utilities network system in the field (Part 3). Final summary.

Learning outcomes
|
To acquaint students with activities related to the design and construction of urban engineering infrastructure and utilities. The practical component of the course also includes an excursion to the utilities network system in the urban agglomeration.
After completing the course, the student gains basic knowledge and skills in the field of municipal engineering.

Basic knowledge of road design and transport planning.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written examination, Home assignment evaluation
Required attendance in seminars (full-time study only). Completion and submission of all assigned tasks. Passing the credit test.
