Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
Learning outcomes
In this course, students will gain basic information about electronic and electrical components. They discussed the basic passive components (resistors, capacitors, inductors ...) some nonlinear components, power components (diac, thyristor, triac) Optoelectronic components, also discusses briefly the subject of some properties of the elements in terms of their use as datacom, and in power electronics.
After completing the course, students will know the basic information about commonly used devices and their application. Students will be able to follow technical courses to understand the interpretation of describing a function devices that contain these elements.
Prerequisites
Students should have a very good knowledge of physics and theoretical electrical engineering.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

Students must during the semester and the final exam to prove understanding solved problems. Specific requirements shall be students teaching in first week semester.
