Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
Learning outcomes
The goal of this lectures is to introduce materials and basic products used at present time in electrotechnics, its properties and possibilities of exploitation.
After accomplishment of this lectures the student will get besic information about properties of materials used in modern ekectrotechnics and electronics. The students will also know where are these materials used, how to treat them and what is not allowed. In the consequntial studies the student will be understand the interpretation of described properties of these materials.
Prerequisites
The student should know basic of physics, electrotechnic and electronics circuits, magnetism, optics, theory of wave propagation. It is also important to know summary of commonly used devices, instruments and electronics products.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

The student must cleary understand all study materials, which will be proved at the final exam. Final requirements will be diven during the first week of studies by teacher.
