Course content
Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI) - basic concepts, history and development, key concepts. The need for critical thinking. AI tools and their uses - overview of AI applications in use. Text generative models and working with prompts. Assessing the correctness and quality of a response, hallucinations. AI in office and translation applications. Image generative models - principles of AI image generation, capabilities and limitations of selected tools. AI for image editing and graphic design - retouching, quality enhancement, graphic feature generation. Sound and music in AI - voice recognition, synthesis, sound and music generation. AI in video production - video generation, subtitling, dubbing. Ethics and legal aspects of AI - responsibility for AI generated content, copyright, legislation and citing AI. Security and misinformation - deepfakes, content manipulation, privacy and safe use of AI. Creating presentations with AI tools Presentation and evaluation of semester projects - practical demonstrations of working with AI tools and feedback. Presentation and evaluation of semester projects - practical examples of working with AI tools and feedback.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to teach students how to work effectively with artificial intelligence tools and use them in real situations. The course will focus on the practical use of AI for creative design, automation and information processing.
After completing the course, the student is able to use and critically evaluate artificial intelligence tools and their outputs.
