Course content
1. Legislative and regulatory framework - ICAO Annex 6, ICAO Doc. 8168, Commission Regulation (EU) No. 965/2012. 2. Certification and supervision of the operator. 3. Operating Procedures. 4. Requirements for operation in adverse meteorological conditions: operation in low visibility. 5. Requirements for equipment and instruments, communication and navigation equipment. 6. Aircraft maintenance, flight crew, flight attendants. 7. Navigation requirements for long-haul flights. 8. Flight management - transatlantic and polar flight, MNPS airspace. 9. Minimum equipment list (MEL), airframe clearance list (CDL), flight manual (AFM). 10. Aircraft de-icing, anti-icing, bird strike, noise abatement procedures. 11. Fire/smoke, pressurized cabin decompression, wind shear, microburst, wake turbulence. 12. Safety and protection against illegal acts, transportation of dangerous goods. 13. Emergency and safety landings.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with the procedures for conducting and securing air traffic and commercial air transport.
After completing the course, the student is familiar with the procedures involved in the execution and ensuring the safety of air traffic operations and commercial air transport.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of aviation issues and the study material of the TPIL subject is assumed.

Oral examination, Written examination

The condition for participation in the exam is for full-time students to obtain a credit. The credit confirms that the student has participated in the classes to the required extent and that he has met the requirements for the awarding of the credit. The conditions for granting credit are determined by the teacher in the first week of the semester's lecture period. The subject exam for the full-time form of study is determined in accordance with the Study and Examination Regulations of the UPa.
