Course content
1. Aviation maintenance development, MSG 2. Work safety and risk assessment in aircraft maintenance 3. Hand and mechanical tools, measuring equipment 4. Technical drawings, publications and documents in aircraft maintenance 5. Aircraft maintenance program, maintenance planning 6. EWIS 7. General methods of repair, lubrication, detection and elimination of faults, modification 8. Center of gravity and weight of the aircraft 9. Operating procedures with the aircraft on the ground I. - towing and taxiing, lifting and supporting, parking, shoring and storage 10. Operational procedures with the aircraft on the ground II. - ground resources, refueling and fueling, de-icing and anti-icing 11. Corrosion of aircraft 12. Non-destructive tests and diagnostics of the state of the aircraft structure 13. The human factor in aircraft maintenance

Learning outcomes
The goal of the course is to introduce students to the maintenance of aircraft technology. Emphasis is targed on legislative and operational procedures according to the currently applicable requirements, especially according to EU 1321/2014, Part M, Part 145, and Part 147.
For pilots and aircraft maintenance technicians.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of the subject Aviation legislation and procedures.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination

Basic aviation knowledge. E.g. Completion of the Air Transport course.
