Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Skills training
  • Preparation for an exam - 32 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 30 hours per semester
  • Contact teaching - 52 hours per semester
  • Preparation for a credit (assessment) - 30 hours per semester
  • Preparation of a presentation (report) - 5 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquire basic theoretical knowledge in PPL (A / H) before entering the modular practical training. The scope is given by subjects 010 to 090 defined in the EU Commission Regulation No. 1178/2011. The course ends with an examination of theoretical knowledge.
After completing the course, the student should be ready to take the PPL (A/H) theoretical knowledge test.
Prerequisites
A good knowledge of mathematics, physics and English from high school is assumed.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Didactic test

The condition for participation in the exam is for full-time students to obtain a credit. The credit confirms that the student has participated in the classes to the required extent and that he has met the requirements for the awarding of the credit. The conditions for granting credit are determined by the teacher in the first week of the semester's lecture period. The subject exam for the full-time form of study is determined in accordance with the Study and Examination Regulations of the UPa.
