Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
The subject builds on the knowledge acquired in the previous material and technological subjects. The lectures are focuses to modern production technologies. Topics are focus to application of technologies in the area of road vehicles manufacturing. Students are also informed about the technological issues of structures. Exercise takes the form of PC and practical examples for programming CNC machines.
Students will acquire more detailed overview in the area of modern (progressive) technologies of welding, brazing, glue joints, parting and machining the main types of (metal) materials.
Prerequisites
To pass the subject successfully, knowledge and skills acquired by passing the subjects of Material Science, Mechanical Technology and Structural Materials are necessary, informing the student on characteristics of structural materials, as well as on basic mechanical technologies. From the point of view of logical consequence, this order of subjects is necessary.
