Course content
Elasto-plastic analysis of a bar. Design of composite steel and concrete structures. Based sectorial characteristics. Analysis of the thin-walled sectionns of a opened and closed cross-section shapes. Shapes of buckled structure. Damage of stability. Buckling of wall slab construction. Shear lag of thin-walled slab construction. Fatique design, time cumulation damage. Brittle fracture. Orthotropic slab constructions Method of least work and Castigiano's second theorem. Experimental methods. Mechanics of nonhomogeneous materials.

Learning outcomes
The objective of the project is to make students acquainted with latest knowledge in the field of design of civil engineering structures and its application with respect to the national Standards.
Student learns new pieces of knowledge of structural mechanics and its application in civil engineering inclusive their projection to the valid norms.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of precedings subjects, mainly Mechanics I. and Strength of materials I. and II. is expected for successful graduation.

Oral examination, Written examination
