Course content
|
Introduction to the statics, forces systems, equivalence and equilibrium, centre of gravity of surfaces, lines and rigid bodies. Statical constraints of particle, rigid body and of systems rigid bodies, rigid body carried in plane. Systems rigid bodies in a plane, system of rigid bodies in a space. Statics with passive resistances, statical investigation of systems of rigid bodies regarding to passive resistances. Kinematics of point and rigid body, basic kinematic magnitudes, basic kinds of motions, harmonic motion. Dynamics of particle. Dynamics of systems particles. Dynamics of rigid bodies. Moments of inertia and productes of inertia. Dynamics of systems of rigid bodies. Impact bodies. Vibration of linear systems. Time reserv, summary.

Learning outcomes
|
Aim of the course unit is acquaint students with bases and principles of three branches of technical mechanics, i.e. statics, kinematics and dynamics.
After graduation of the subject student can solve equilibrium rigid bodies and systems of rigid bodies, can calculate coordinates of center of gravity areas, lines and volumes, can solve static excersises with passive resistances. Is able to determine kinematic magnitudes for moving point and rigid body, can set together and solve equations of motion of particles, rigid bodies and theirs systems, is acquainted with elementary theory of impact and has basic knowledge from oscillating discrete systems.

Prerequisites
|
Unconditional presumption of successful studies of the subject is knowledge topic from subjectes Mathematics I, Mathematics II, Physics I and Geometry.
