Course content
Road winter maintainance. Technical, operational and economical vehicle evaluation. Road carrier company establishment. Road transportation operation. Carrier company management. Operational management. GPS systems. Information systems used in road transportation. Work safety, special regime of driver's work. Traffic accidents. Road traffic control. Road transport's special technologies. Regional road service. Integrated transport systems. Mathematical simulation in road transport. Mathematical and simulation models from local public transport (LPT). Organization and control of LPT. LPT company operator. Quality in road transport range. Spare time, subject summary.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to teach students to be able to deal with technological processes in road transport (passenger, cargo) and make their optimization. In rail transport to be able to deal with technological processes during timetable creation.
After passing the subject, the student is able to create technological procedure in road and urban public transport using optimization methods.

Oral examination

The credit confirms that the student has attended the lessons in certain frequency and that has fulfilled all requirements. The conditions of credit awarding depend on the teacher. The examination (form, content, length) is given by "Study and Examination Order".
