Course content
Position and task of air transport over the world, in Europe and Czech Republic. The air transport perspectives. History and present of Czech Airlines. Airline alliances and low-cost companies task. Current aeronautical technics, its operational conditions and technical possibilities. Airplane structure, principles and technical solutions allowing to the airplane flying. Air transport route. Air space definition and conditions of flying. Airport, its technical and operational parameters. Technical and constructional equipment of an airport to ensure hard air traffic operations. Air traffic services task. Problems of air traffic control. Task and structure of air traffic control services. Technical equipment necessities for air traffic controlling. Aeronautical information service, search and rescue service. Air traffic safety questions. Realization of commercial laws in air transport. Distribution process and air transport sales. Informatics in air transport. Aerial transport process and required documents. Air cargo transport, aircrafts for cargo transport. Realization of ecological demands and preservation of demands of bearable environment in air transport. Basic characteristic and develop in water transport. Sort of vessels. Basic ship parts, parameters and properties. Water route classification and characteristic. Geography of water network. Harbors and docks. Operating of water transport, organization and managing of transport activities. Crews of vessels, technological process of vessel activities. Public administration and legislative in water transport. Rules and safety of water transport. Time allowance, conclusion.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to introduce transport technology and control problem in inland water transport and air transport.
After passing the subject, the student is able to orientate in problem of technology and control of inland water transport and air transport.
