The aim of the course is an application of theoretical knowledge to transport system, optimization of transport technology and a control of networks and local processes in all transport modes. Content of the course: Position of transport in market economy and social processes Importance of technology and control in transport processes Basic characteristics of transport modes and their process Technological and operational particularity in transport modes Quality in transport Information and control systems for transport operation, technology and management in rail, road, air and water transport Logistics in transport Sorting processes, accumulation of transport elements Creation of timetables Control in non-standard situation Location of transport points, manipulation in their attraction circuits Capacity problems in transport Integrated transport systems Computer aid for network technology Network of informatic systems The aim of the subject is an application of theoretical knowledge to transport system, optimization of transport technology and the control of networks and local processes in all transport modes. Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

Basic knowledge of linear algebra mathematical analysis, linear programming, graph theory and queuing theory, elementary knowledge of transport means and infrastructure.
