Course content
Introduction, definitions and preliminary concepts Aspects of passenger transport, characteristic of transport modes Basic indices in passenger transport, quality in passenger transport, methods for assessment of passengers flows Factors of irregularity in passenger transport, empiric models in transport planning Characteristic of suburban transport, requirements on organizing of suburban transport, suburban transport organizing and types of time schedules Integrated transport systems in the Czech Republic and transport associations abroad Requirements on vehicles and infrastructure in suburban transport Regional transport and improved frequency time table, characteristic of regional transport, requirements on integrated improved frequency time tables. Construction of integrated improved frequency time tables, examples from foreign countries Theoretical aspects of establishment of integrated transport system, definition and subsystems of integrated transport system, basic preconditions and contributions, typical development stages of organization form of the integrated transport system, influence of the European and Czech legal norms on integrated transport systems. Establishment and operation of polycentric integrated transport system, way of integration, tariff and tariff systems, proposal of way of receipts allocation General condition for establishment of coordinator, recommended way of establishment of the coordinator System proposal of the integrated transport system, displays of integration in subsystems of the integrated transport system, determining of criterions for selection of suitable areas for creation of integration transport systems. Principle of function of integrated transport system, including the function of the coordinator Time reserve, summary of the subject matter.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to inform students about the questions of public passenger transport in city agglomerations and regions and also about the process and principles by establishing and development of integrated transport systems.
Student is able to reflect specifics of subsystems of pubic passenger transport in city agglomerations and regions after absolving of the subject. Student knows practical process and principles by establishment and development of integrated transport systems.

Oral examination

The student must prove during the semester, he understood the presented issues. The credit confirms that the student has fulfilled all requirements. The conditions of credit awarding depend on the teacher in the first week of the lecture period of the semester.
