Course content
Introduction. National and Czech legislation. Operation conditions of chosen kinds of international transport, transports between EU states and transports to other states. International governmental organizations and their role. Important road, rail, water and air transport organizations. International nongovernmental organizations and their role. International bilateral and multilateral agreements - characteristics, content, usability. Legislative conditions of road and rail transportation operation. Legislative conditions of water and air transportation operation. Contracts of carriage in road and rail international transport. Contracts of carriage in water and air international transport. Transport paths in individual modes of transport - international transit corridors. Means of transport used in international transport. Special types of international transport - dangerous goods transport, over-size transports. Special types of international transport - transport of perishable goods, live animal transport. Work conditions for employees in individual international transport modes. Spare time, subject summary.

Learning activities and teaching methods

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to offer information about international transport and about conditions of business in this range. Main international conventions and laws are mentioned either.
After passing the subject, the student is able to orientate in problem of operation of road, rail, water and air transport. All form point of view of carrier, customer and infrastructure. Students get information about important governmental and nongovernmental documents.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination

The credit confirms that the student has attended the lessons in certain frequency and that has fulfilled all requirements. The conditions of credit awarding depend on the teacher. The examination (form, content, length) is given by "Study and Examination Order".
