Different categories of goods. Goods as a cargo. Goods properties. Goods assessment. Packaging and materials for packaging. Transportation properties of conventional general cargo. Kinds of conventional general cargo. Transportation properties of bulk cargo. Kinds of bulk cargo. Liquid cargo and gases. Cargo with particular properties - wood, refrigerated cargo, animals. Cargo for Ro-Ro technology. Dangerous goods. Goods as a global market comodity.

Learning outcomes
|
The main goal of this course is to introduce different kinds, properties and behaviour of goods in generall and during transport.
After completing the course, students are able to identify and describe different kinds of goods. They are also able to determine properities and behaviour of goods relevant to transportation by different transport means.

By granting of credit it is approved that student of present form study has been attended in required measure of obligatory education and accomplished the requests that were set as conditions for granting.
