1st week Introduction to the issue of human nutrition, definition of basic concepts. 2nd week History and nutrition of human. 3rd week Basic nutrients in human nutrition (carbohydrates, proteins). 4th week Basic nutrients in human nutrition (fats, fatty acids). 5th week Alcoholic beverages in human nutrition. 6th week Energy metabolism, methods of measuring adipose tissue. 7th week The use of reference energy values. 8th week Vitamins in nutrition. 9th week Minerals in nutrition. 10th week Additives, definitions. The effect of additives on health. 11th week Additives, presentation of selected works, discussion. 12th week Significant contaminants in food, their effect on health. 13th week Other biologically active substances in food
