Course content
1st-10th week The student works on his diploma thesis under the professional supervision of the thesis supervisor. 11th-13th week Processing of results, preparation of the manuscript

The aim of the course is to acquire practical skills in solving a specific scientific task, design of methodology, processing of results and their presentation in the form of a diploma thesis. Academic staff approve the assignment of diploma theses with a topic covering the issues discussed during the study, or related to it. In the case of a topic taken from practice or solved outside the faculty, a consultant is appointed. The assignment contains the aim of the work, requirements or instructions for elaboration and basic literature. The announced assignment can follow up on the issues that the student solved in the bachelor's thesis, in a semester or other project. The content follows the solved problems within the subject Diploma Thesis Laboratory. The head of the department approves the topics and releases them for registration for students. The student registers for the selected topic no later than the end of the winter semester (addressed in the relevant directive "Schedule of state final examinations for subsequent master's degree programs." At the beginning of the summer semester the student receives a written assignment. students will specify the announcement of the head of the department providing the study program. In the summer semester, the student continuously attends individual consultations and works independently according to the instructions of the supervisor or consultant. Credit is awarded to the supervisor on the basis of the submission of a finished thesis meeting the assignment, requirements for the formal form of the thesis and any other requirements of the supervisor.
