Course content
|
The principles of determination of main quality parameters of individual water types (surface water, drinking water, mineral water, waste water and other water types). Automatic analyzers and monitors for the determination of surface water parameters - TOC, TC, TIC, DOC and further FIA and CFA analyzers. The principles of analysis of technical gases, waste gases, biogases and flue gases by chemical, chromatographic, spectral, gravimetric and the other methods.

Learning outcomes
|
Students will be informed about characteristic properties of individual water types (drinking water, mineral water, surface water, waste water) and about the principles of determination of main quality parameters of individual water types. In the field of analysis of gases, the aim of lecture is to give the review about possibilities of their analysis.
Students will be acquainted with basic knowledge of analyses of waters and gases.

Knowledge within the range of bachelor studies at FCHT is required.

Oral examination
