Course content
Unit operations (separation and refining processes - the basics). Syngas and hydrogen production. Ammonia production. Sulfuric acid production. Nitric acid production. Phosphoric acid production. Chlorine and sodium hydroxide production. Sodium carbonate production. Introduction into fertilizers properties and production. Introduction into inorganic pigments properties and production.

After completing this course, students know the fundamental properties of inorganic compounds and are familiar with the process of industrial production (chemical-engineering operations, physico-chemical conditions). Students understand the technological schemes.
