Course content
|
Within this subject the student is working on a diploma thesis. The aim is for the student to gain theoretical knowledge in the field of research. The student should demonstrate the ability to classify the information obtained into logical units and apply it in independent work. The student should independently perform measurements, including evaluation of results and design of original solutions. The student is acquainted with the content of research carried out at the workplace and the connection of the topic of the diploma thesis to the issues addressed within the research group. The diploma thesis has the character of a research experimental study, in which the student demonstrates an ability to work with English written literature, search for information, systematically sort it and apply it to their own experimental work according to the assigned topic of the diploma thesis. The assignment of the diploma thesis contains current research issues, which the student solves independently and comprehensively. The defense of the diploma thesis is before an expert commission appointed by the dean of the faculty, which examines and evaluates the method of solution, professional level and obtained experimental results.

The aim is that the student has acquired theoretical knowledge in selected areas of research, carried out by entering the experimental measurements and evaluate the results.
Students are able to realize the experimental measurements, evaluate results and processed into a thesis.
