Course content
1. laboratory task: XRD analysis - determination of phase composition of powder materials 2. laboratory task: Measuring of colour parameters of powder and their application into binder 3. laboratory task: Differential scanning calorimetry 4. laboratory task: Potenciometric titration 5. laboratory task: Crushing of materials and measuring of particle size distribution 6. laboratory task: Limestone pumping Students will obtain printed instructions for laboratory tasks.

Learning outcomes
Students undergo individual laboratory exercises to familiarize themselves with the methods, procedures and instrumentation they can potentially use to develop their diploma thesis.
Students are able to master the laboratory technique.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of laboratory practice.

Writing of protocol for all laboratory tasks.
