Course content
|
During the semester, students will visit selected chemical companies in the Czech Republic, which are engaged in the production of basic inorganic substances. Part of the excursion is acquaintance with the production program of the company, a visit to the control room of individual productions with the explanation of an expert from practice and a tour of the own production equipment. The visited companies are Synthesia a.s., Pardubice, Precheza a.s., Přerov, Fosfa a.s., Břeclav, Lovochemie a.s., Lovosice, Macco Organiques s.r.o. Bruntál, etc. Students will prepare a short written report on a visit to the facility.

Learning outcomes
|
Students get acquainted with the chemical industry in practice.
Students combine theoretical teaching in technological subjects with the actual implementation in a chemical company. The tour is connected with the interpretation of an expert from practice.
