The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the characterization of phase transformations, both the description of equilibrium and monitoring their progress and the creation of a kinetic description. Depending on the selected type of equilibrium, methods suitable for its monitoring and the method of obtaining and evaluating experimental data will also be discussed. The importance of the phase transformations in technological practice will be emphasized.
