Course content
Practice 1 Clinical Biochemistry laboratory: work safety Analytical parameters of method Concept definition: linearity, accuracy, precision, standard addition method, dilution experiment, robustness, limit of quantification, limit of detection Analytical parameters of selected method: intra-assay, linearity, limit of quantification and detection, accuracy of calibration curve (control serum), statistical evaluation (software Trilobyte, QCExpert), standard addition method, dilution experiment 8 hours Practice 2 Laboratory Information System LISSET: administration; LISANA: communication between LIS and analyzers, import of results Analyzers Cobas Mira and Olympus AU640, operation A comparison of results obtained by analyzers Olympus AU640, Cobas Mira (Roche) and nine-channel photometer Labsystems, statistical evaluation 8 hours Practice 3 The determination of alpha-tocopherol in plasma using high-performance liquid chromatography with coulometric electrochemical detection 8 hours Practice 4 Determination of selected antidepressants by gas chromatography with flame-ionization detector 8 hours
