Course content
1. Safety in clinical biochemistry laboratory, laboratory information system (OpenLIMS), administration of laboratory information system, communication of laboratory information system with analyzer, create of batch for analyzer, import results. Analyzer Erba XL200, analyzer operation, liquid chromatograph with spectrophotometric, fluorescence and electrochemical detector, chromatograph operation, gas chromatograph with flame ionization and mass detector, pH meter, pH meter calibration, pH measurement, buffer and mobile phase preparation, Clarity chromatography software from DataApex, evaluation of chromatograms, control of individual modules of HPLC system. 2. Analytical parameters of the method. Determining of precision, accuracy, linearity, limits of detection and quantification. Comparison of 2 methods, comparison of two independent groups by box plots, pairwise comparison of two groups by regression analysis, pairwise comparison of two groups by Bland-Altman plot. 3. Determination of selected antidepressants by gas chromatography with flame ionization detector. Preparation of urine samples before GC analysis - SPE (solid phase extraction) technique. 4. Determination of amino acids in dry blood spot by liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection. 5. Determination of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in plasma by gas chromatography with mass spectrometry detection.
