Course content
1st week: Principles of work in a cell culture laboratory - work safety and hygiene. 2nd week: Spectrophotometric verification of accuracy and correctness of pipetting. 3rd week: Osmotic processes in cell cultivation - plasmoptysis and plasmorhiza of cells. 4th week: Preparation of a native preparation of animal cells, laboratory materials (culture plastic, glass). 5th week: Evaluation of cell viability, cryopreservation and storage of cell cultures. 6th week: Quantification of cell material, analysis of protein concentration. 7th week: Cytochemical and fluorescent staining, visualization of cell organelles. 8th week: Operation of a cell laboratory, principles of work in a laminar flow box, cell isolation. 9th week: Cultivation of suspension cell lines - blood tumor cell lines. 10th week: Cultivation of adherent cell lines - lung and neural tumor cell lines. 11th week: Cultivation of adherent cell lines - liver and kidney cell lines. 12th week: Characteristics of cell growth in the study of cytotoxicity of biomaterials in vitro. 13th week: Presentation of the results of the group project - analysis of cytological study.

The aim of the course is to introduce students to the basics of working in a cell culture laboratory and to modern laboratory techniques used in cell analyses.
