Course content
"Professional Practice Seminar" is taught in the winter semester of the 3rd year. Its teaching is designed so that it precedes the subject "Professional Practice", which students complete in the summer semester of the 3rd year. The teaching schedule of the subject is divided into two parts. In the first part of the semester, seminars are led by experts from companies that offer students professional practice for the following summer semester. Typically, these are lecturers from development, research, or production laboratories of private or state institutions dealing with the issue of biomaterials and cell applications, i.e., for example, the companies CONTIPRO (Dolní Dobrouč), GENERI BIOTECH (Hradec Králové), SYNPO (Pardubice), but also others. The second part of the teaching within the "Professional Practice Seminar" consists of student presentations on a topic that will be related to the choice of the place of professional practice and its content. In addition, students will also work on this topic as part of their bachelor's theses. Compiling a short literary research on a given topic, its presentation and subsequent discussion will be a condition for obtaining credit.
