Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
Learning outcomes
Students who have passed cytology are eligible to register. In lectures, students gain knowledge in a progressively developing field of stem cell biology and regenerative medicine incl. closely related areas of tissue engineering and cell therapy. In the course of practical classes, students become familiar with detection methods and basic procedures in the tissue culture laboratory.

Prerequisites
cytology and cytodiagnostics

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination, Student performance assessment

Presence in lectures and laboratory classes. Absences may be substituted only by writing an assay on the topic you missed. Elaboration of protocol for cell viability and presentation for other students. Final examination in written form of multiple choice test.
